Our minimum booking time in any location is one hour. Additional time is charged in 15minute increments at the “subsequent hour” rate. For example, a 1.5 hour quartet booking in Brisbane would be $1850 + $224 = $2074.
A non-refundable deposit of $200 (subtracted from the total fee) is payable at the time of booking.
If you would like a flute in your quartet, we can substitute a flute player for one of the violins for the same fee.

Please note, as a small business, Four Strings is not registered (and therefore not required) to charge GST. The listed prices are all inclusive.
We pride ourselves on looking after our musicians by paying fair fees (including superannuation) and holding workers’ compensation insurance to protect them against job-related injuries. By treating our musicians well, we ensure higher-quality performances in return. If you receive a quote significantly lower than ours, please be aware that the musicians may not be paid fairly, which could result in a subpar performance.
Our standard pricing reflects the value of live music and ensures fair pay for our musicians. However, discounts may be available for registered charities, genuine hardship cases, and our valued regular clients. If you believe this applies to you, please let us know upon enquiry.
